My biggest pet peeve with California is that it exists. I don't understand it when I see shit on people's cars proudly proclaiming them to be from 'NOR-CAL' or 'SO-CAL'. Fuck, I'd rather see 'NO CAL' -- THAT'S something I'd stick on my back window.

Anyway, I'm in Monterey, and I missed Opeth last January when they went to San Francisco (an utterly repulsive city), so if they go back any time this year before May 13 I'll do everything I can to go see them -- despite how much I hate that city. ~_~

yeah pretty much anyone you see with a "norcal" shirt on is a dipshit. the whole norcal/socal thing is kinda stupid, but there really is a big difference between the two regions. a lot of people either love or hate california, i don't really care either way...i like san francisco a lot though
