Any fans of Opeth from the Orchid Era, here....???

i listen opeth since ... 1995 DD when orchid releases. I was thinking if opeth was a black metal band of some kind od death/folk band with black influences.
Forest of October blowed my mind ... the ambient, the sound, the power... was awesome.....

when morningrise was released i listened advent and i said... "wow!!! is a great piece of brutality with a incredible feeling!!!" ...

i like opeth from the beginning to now, but the old era is my favorite.

I got into 'em like 1998-1999ish around Still Life era. Online friend who is also a metalhead was raving about 'em so I checked 'em out. Glad I did.

that's only cause he stole mine while I was sleeping. He doesn't really have them, he superglued them. now I've got big holes in my back. anyhow, yes welcome to our new member. and a personal message to him: I hate message boards- ultimatemetal is the only one where people don't constantly flame because you have a different opinion. every other board, everyones either 60 and grumpy or 15 and angsty. bleh.
