Saxon has been better than both bands recently that's why they headlined lot's of huge european festivals such as Wackehn Oepn Air, Bang Your Head and Bloodstock UK for the last couple of years.
I had enough with Iron Maiden they definitely died after 7th Son Of A 7th Son and they cameback with X-Factor and then they died again. They bore me to death now. I wish they down tune their guitar tones and play lot's of double bass drums so they could have been better but Helloween definitely took that ideas.
My favorite vocalists are not Bruce Dickinson. I like Paul Di'anno and Blaze Bayley more. But I'd say punk Paul Di'anno was more mean and nasty. Paul Di'anno's Killers are pretty good shit. Blaze is outstanding on his own. I even own Wolfsbane album.
Judas Priest 1974 are the definitive Heavy Metal and they have the title of METAL GODS.
Heavy Metal is from BIRMINGHAM...
I always liked Judas Priest even with Tim Ripper Owens. Stuff I don't like is Point Of Entry, Turbo, Priest... Live and Demolition was pretty weak yet very commercial albums. But most of the time they were outstanding.
30th anniversary of Judas Priest heavy metal this year.
So anyways my point is that I like Judas Priest more than Iron Maiden.
But I'm a big fan of likes of Ritchie Blackmore's Rainbow, Free, Bad Co, Deep Purple, Budgie, Uriah Heep, White Snake, Thin Lizzy and UFO etc. Ritchie Blackmore is god. Mick Box is god too.
And I'm a die hard fan of cult brummie metal gods Marshall Law since last year! Raw In The Law! Indeed. Andy Pyke, Dave Martin and Andy Southwell is GODS!
