Anyone know/like/hate/care about Agathodaimon?

This band is new to me and I was just wondering if anyone was familiar with them...

pretty nice melodic black/gothic metal, but they haven't really showed a lot of evolution throughout their three albums.

I don't know them but I stumble across one of their albums in every record shop when I search something under 'A'. Their CD seems to be everywhere. I wish that would be the case with other (good) bands...

Hmmm, there was a video of the Wacken festival, with performances by several bands, a couple of years ago. Aga were on it, I found them to be silly. The vocalist really sucks live, and looks dopey. The music seemed average. I have seen their albums in the shop, but based on that performance, I'm avoiding them.

I agree. Even here, I see their CD's.

The Record company must've gone overboard with the distribution.

I've heard some songs with Agathodaimon and to be honest, they're not good at all. Boring melodic shit from Nuclear Blast.
Just to hear that it's melodic metal from NB makes me bored at least.

I like 'em. I think they are far better and more original than bands like Dimmu Borgir, etc. Their first album is their best.
