Architects - Broken Cross Cover + Multis

What if I told you I did this around 1,5h
Fastest mix I put together.

Really grate DIs, easy to work with, almost like mine :D
This time I tried out some stupid simplified bass processing using Sausage Fattener (comp/ saturation/ limiter), I've been using it on drums time to time, but it did wonders on bass (although I did quick pre and post EQ).

I did a brighter one! And with a little less mids, tell me what you think!

Killer mix that takes the listener somewhere. Great depth / space.
Allowing the pads to breathe along with the cymbals.
Yet still heavy as all get out

Guitars are awesome, although I more impressed of snare sound, it sounds pretty close to original.

My "Sturgitects" attempt:

I didn't bother with whole track.
Deadstar, DIs are awesome, what audio interface you were using? Have you processed them somehow after/while recording?

You almost nailed Sturgis sound. Almost because snare is too weak, sound like room is louder than shells.

Yup, now it's sounds for me weak too. It was far beyond midnight, I was using headphones and didn't listen it on monitors. It also lacks of low end, need more punch.
However it's not hard thing to fix.
