As Promised - Ball Clap Samples

I wasn't sure exactly where to post this, so I figured the general forum would do.

As I promised before, I recorded some ball claps this morning.

Signal chain was scrotum -> TLM103 -> UA LA610 -> FF800.

Let me know if you guys find these useful or end up using them in any mixes!

I really wish I was joking. I had everything setup to record vocals this morning and the guy texted me saying he'd be 30 minutes late - I got it just after I'd gotten out of the shower and figured I'd finally do it.

Oh I should mention these balls were freshly talc'd with Bálla Powder.

Jeff, please describe the technique used to record these.

Did you just smack them?
Jump up and down?
Slam them up against something?
Get a girl, do her hard and sneak in the mic?
But secs?

Mine just don't sound as good. I get to much low end thud. Are these raw files or did you eq them to taste?
