ashaman7122, I figured I would dedicate a thread to the situation that happened on the Jake thread. First of all, I will not blast you over that anymore. It's over, we didn't agree. So what? There is no right & wrong. I will have to point out that this isn't a clique & we don't keep others out this forum. I think that all the regulars can agree that the only thing, that is off limits is "flaming" it's just lame. We are just metal fans that are here because it's an escape from all the other forums, where people attack one another over disagreements...
Hey, if you refrain from all the nonsense that happens in the other forums, we'd love to hear what you have to say. I appologize for my remarks on the "Jake" thread. If you chose to hang around & get to know us you'll see that we are pretty tight.

I believe (and hope not been naive) that like you we all love this place, and that all the regulars (and some irregulars ) are here because not only our love for metal and especially old school, but also because this is an oasis of sanity in the wild world of metal forums, where flaming, hatred and extremism seems to prevail.

Well put, this flaming stuff gets so old. I know we haze some of the new people at times, but it's done in a "playful" kind of way. I don't get off on this negative stuff anymore. I used to love it. I guess I'm getting wiser?
Who knows? That's just where I'm coming from right now.

Well, for reasons unknown, i kept away from the Jake E. Lee thread and it seems i've missed on some fun!! But Sixx is right, we're not a click, but we're tight. This is just a forum we go to to discuss the music we all love, while refraining from any and all useless flaming that has engulfed the rest of the forums here at UM. That's all.

The respect I cannot find anywhere else, cause everyone is usually calling me poser ar fag for the bands I listen to besides metal. If your mom likes Boston or Cheap trick would you call her a fag? You didn't get my irony sorry. Actually I DO have Cheap Trick "Greatest Hits", I love some of their songs a lot ('Surrender' among them).

Cheap Trick is cool. A band I was in about 10 years ago covered "Dream Police" and "Auf Wiedersehn", and we were a fucking METAL band! We just played them HEAVY!

"Surrender" is probalby my favourite CT song.

I like 'Surrender, it's a good song, they have a couple that I've heard so far that were pretty good. I like REOspeedwagon(is it spelled right?) and Foregner, the best song is 'Juke box hero. I would love to cover that song nice and heavy(as I try to sound cool) heh heh.

Well I guess ASHMAN's never coming back. He got too pissed at you guys for hassleing him, but he kinda desrved most of it. I guess he's a little more immature than SIXX thought he would be. I hope he comes back I thought he was pretty cool, no one meant any real harm, at least I think not.
