Mellowmuse Software News Update

Auto Time Adjuster RTAS version now available.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
ATA RTAS version is now available for download.
The move to native RTAS format brings increased stability and lower
cpu overhead without reliance on the FXpansion wrapper. The gui has
been revamped, operation and features remain the same as the previous
VST version, though it is now no longer necessary to mute fx sends
before pinging. See: http://www.mellowmuse.com/ATA.html
New AU versions
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
OSX Audio Unit versions of EQ1A, CP1A, IR1A and Mellowhead are now
available for download. Current versions are stereo in/out, mono
functionality will be added in a forthcoming update.

I hear that this thing is better than HD's in-built delay compensation, due to it actually pinging plug-ins and hardware, rather than taking false readings for granted.

100% yes. :OMG:

Referencing PTHD 7.1

Shit had latency all over the place (again referencing TDM plugs only).

By the way. This plug is pretty much a must for PTLE if I were to be so bold. You may not think that latency is a big issue but as soon as you tell this plug to do it's thing your like "WTF NICE!"

Oh and it's very simple to use.

At the Pro Tools 8 demonstration on Monday night they actually recommended ATA for ADC. I knew more about it than the Digi guy though.
The way he explained why it's not in PT8 seemed to me more of a political thing rather than a technical issue.

I think it is more of a political issue. Over on Gearslutz a Digi guy actually said it is on their list of things to add, they just haven't gotten to it, which made me laugh because they are releasing an entirely new version of Pro Tools. But with 10 inserts now, the ATA plug takes up no space compared to before when there were only 5.

I just tried the demo for this thing and really couldn't get it to work. Yes I read the manual.

Maybe is to do with the fact that I use aux FX sends as well as bussing for instruments (mix groups).

Also I tried with a pretty busy mix which has a lot tracks and the demo noise, just got too much!

So you guys had good results with this?
