The vocals are great! The Cynic demos are weak compared to Focus. Just got keep an open mind to it. Cynic pushed this stuff further and experiemented and made a great album.

Same here. What an incredibly stupid decision. It certainly doesn't add anything to the music other than an annoyance.

Also, Roadrunner Demo destroys all. Focus is slower than any of their demos anyway.
