New Mastodon album title and cover revealed

I'm glad they're keeping them short and to the point. Their epics work really well and are amazing, but this album just seems fun. Blasteroids especially. "I wanna drink some fuckin blood!!!!!"

It seems like Mastodon is taking a "We make weird music, deal with it" approach, and shoving it down your throat. It's really annoying me. My hopes aren't that high for this album anymore, the last few songs have really sucked.

This one includes The Ruiner, a bit more of an early Mastodon feel than the others. Was written just before Crack the Skye went in a different direction.

So it leaked, and i'm absolutely in love with it. Whenever I get the chance to, I will most likely get this album.
Creature lives is probably my favorite.

Currently listening to it, and having a Stargasm. It seems after something as epic as Crack The Skye, they just wanted to make a fun record for themselves, and as always, it sounds great.
