Atomkraft - Opinions?

I tried to look up reviews but there aren't many or any that I could find. I have seen them classified as NWOBHM and Speed Metal. Sounds good to me.

Opinions on the band or on their "Total Metal: The Neat Anthology" compilation?

It's really raw, stripped down Punkish stuff. Think "NWOBHM" as in Venom, Tank, English Dogs, etc.

Someone copied a tape for me of like, Stormwitch or Diamond Rexx or something like that back in the 80's. At the end, since they had room they put a song on it and never wrote who it was. It was Atomkraft's "Heat And Pain" and I swear the song was stuck in my head for 20 years. The Old School forum finally figured out who it was for me.

It's great. I had disk one for ages but 2 of their best songs are on the other side so it was annoying.

They are a bit like venom but only compared to other NWOBHM bands, they have their own distinct sound. I would say they are far far far superior to bands like Warfare.
