Thought a few of you would enjoy what goes on behind the scenes, so I uploaded this to the PPUSA YouTube channel..

If that doesn't show you that Michael has to be part of every ProgPower I don't know what does. He Rocks!!!! His stuff is pure awesome!!!

This was simply amazing to actually get a chance to watch in person. At the risk of dealing with Glenn's wrath, though, I have to correct him. This song was originally recorded by John Farnham in 1986. It was only covered by Heart. This song has special meaning for me. Sorry Glenn.

And people wonder why I like to sponsor this thing! Just never know what kind of cool things that can take place 'behind the scenes'.

I remember walking into this and was like thinking, "Damn! Fuck Rockapella! I'll take this instead!"

This was soo much fun! I have over 30min of this on my phone. When we finally get home I will post mine!

I can't wait until the More Than Words acapella is posted.. that brought tears to my eyes it was sooooooo good!

Since my camera managed to munge all of the video I took, plleeeease tell us you got "More Than Words" to post, Dustro..... :worship:

Aw, man. Having that backstage did not do it justice. Listening to that, I was picturing those guys on a street corner in Brooklyn back in the day. You know, wearing leather jackets, white T-shirts, jeans, singing over a burning garbage can, within earshot of Alan Freed spinning da hits. Man, that performance was fabulous. :worship:

All the cool stuff happened when I wasn't backstage. Every time I went back there, there was literally no one around. Maybe one or two people, or I'd catch a glimpse of one musician or another, but nothing really exciting happening.

I particularly enjoyed the 20 minutes of Bed of Roses with Jake and many others right outside Delain's dressing room.

I probably had my camera on me for a lot of this, but I've gotten used to not even thinking about using it at PP. :-\

Indeed it was originally recorded by John Farhnam, infact the song was originally written for him. I remember when it was released and everyone went apeshit over it. It stayed at #1 for weeks. The album it was from still holds the record for most amount of albums sold in Australia's history. It sold 1.68 million at a time when the population was around 16million, which is incredible when you think about it. Here's the original if anyone wants to hear it....huge song.
