Bands With Worst Guitar Sound

I have to say Slayer........ they have the worst fuckin sound.

Slayer do have a bad guitar sound I think.
Iron Maiden on their last 3 studio albums as well I hate to say.
All grindcore bands.
Vixen have a terrible guitar sound. Great songs though. They would've been 100% better with a decent distortion.

Slayer I agree.... only the solos...

Immortal... they grate on my nerves... it's great music but the guitars give me a headache, not for being loud... just the sound... hurts my head...

I can't think of any. I'm not a guitarist so I don't know what a bad sound sounds like. I quite like Slayer's geetars though.

Vinnie Vincent's guitar sound on the "Euphoria" EP has to be the most grating, hard edged, painful on the ears guitar sound I've ever heard but I like that.

Euphoria is underrated. "Promises" is BRILLIANT!

And yes, I'm talking about the Def Leppard album, not that EP by whatsisname.

Every WASP album since from the Crimson Idol onwards has had a shitty sound too.

I love the guitar sound on Hellorado... RAW HEAVY ROCK & ROLL!!!!

And I love the guitar sound on Unholy Terror.... excellent raw thrashing heavy metal!!!

95% of black metal bands have fucking awful sounding guitars, but they seem to like it like that. 95% of black metal is shithouse anyway......I don't need to listen to 50 minutes of buzz-saws and screeches. I like a few black bands, but I find they need to have a good sound to be listenable.
