Check out these bands, Wulfgar and Strydegor, if you haven't listened to them yet.. a bit similar to AA, well I don't really say similar because AA is so unique and best ever!

Yes, thanks, did not know them, Strydegor is quite nice in my opinion, but as you said...... AA is a phenomenon.

Anorexia Nervosa (anybody else thought about Hypocrisy listening ti this? ^^) and Mystic Forest sound pretty cool :)

New Be'lakor song :headbang:

I discovered that recently, makes me think of Children of Bodom; now and then the bands of Dushan Petrossi, depending of the mood (and of course many others)

ooooh yeah, NORTHER M/ love that band too bad that petri left now they sux

With all respect to your opinion. I think Circle Regenerated kicked lots of ass and I enjoy it a lot. I think it's got some good riffs and atmosphere to it. Norther always has this cold atmosphere to their music and N lacked that for me. Circle Regenerated brought it back. I did not like N but I will agree that all the other Norther albums with the exception of N are of course better than Circle Regenerated.

Also I think Petri joining Ensiferum full time was a better choice in the end for both bands. If Jari was no longer gonna be in Ensiferum who better to replace him than Petri. It's also not like the replacement singer in Norther had anything better going on with Imperanon splitting.

New Insomnium Album Pre-Lstening: http://www.inferno.fi/inferno-tarjoaa-kuuntele-uusi-insomnium-levy-6156/

Check them out if you haven't already, they deserve it :headbang:

I have. Thanks. Great songs! Just, hmm, I don't know, a little thing bothers me: I personally sometimes have my problems with those change of vocals from rough, dark (or whatever) to, I call it "The Faith No More - Kindergarten - Vocal - Style", clean, clear voices. Many bands does it. Dark Age for example does it too. AA fortunately not.
I mean, look at 3:26. Ok, it fits, but...

That's without that vocal change :)

I know, I know....I'm not too bothered by the clean vocals but they're ok. Fitting some songs pretty well (I DO like the verse of One For Sorrow for example). As long as they don't include them too much I'm fine with it.
On the first three Albums (In the Halls of Awaiting, Since the Day it All Came Down, Above the Weeping World) they haven't used cleans.
They started with having some guest vocals on the last Album (Across the Dark). They played one of those Songs on the last tours so one of them had to do the vocals live. One of the guitar players did them, it went pretty well, so they decided to do some more cleans here and there and this time by themselves.
If you're checking out an older Album I would recommend Above the Weeping World. Just a brilliant melodeath Album in my opininion. One of my All-Time Favourites ;)

Thanks Thimon! Above the Weeping World is on my list of wishes now.
Concerning GEMA.... oh yes, sometimes it's infuriatingly on youtube.
