Bathory's first three albums

how any fan of true Heavy Metal can dislike the self titled Bathory debut is a mystery beyond words. This is what it's all about.

Really? I was listening to Live in Leipzig the other day, thinking that I should throw it on the trade list because I never listen to it, but I guess I should hold on to it a while longer. It's such a pristine digipak too.

@Nate - we had a thread on Celtic Frost here once...it was a tad amusing. :loco: Otherwise, To Mega Therion all the way! Or at least listen to "Tears in a Prophet's Dream" since it's SO good and you've probably already heard different versions of "Circle of the Tyrants" a million times now.

Tears In a Prophet's Dream is at best an attempt to do what they did with Danse Macabre.... which they didn't. Never forget as a kid, 1986, when I heard that track....

But on the topic of Bathory, get Blood Fire Death. The absolute best.
