i too underappreciated it and then got really into it when i used it to intro my bf to opeth. we listened to it at sunset parked by a beach in my car, watching the planes land and take off from logan airport and i had never really focused on it like that before. and i think it's great. esp. like lopez' jazzy drumming.

I'm listening to Damnation right now, and I am just getting these intense chills throughout my body...strange how when I listen to this music now, I feel a growing sensation of immensity.....it is as if the music and I are absorbed in one another - and that when nothing else matters, we are the only ones who will understand...I'm being brought to tears...I don't feel like I've ever had a stronger bond to anything in my life..

thats sweet man...i feel bad for people who don't connect to music like that...then again, maybe its not for everyone.
