Never heard Joey's solo stuff but I was very impressed by his performance with Chief Big Way.

You left out arrogant who used to like to stick his dick in any chick. There is no denying his new bands and solo stuff is incredibly shitty, but he is still an amazing guitar player with Anthrax.

There is plenty of info out there how Dan's guitar work added dimensions to Anthrax's music.

I just stumbled across a streaming REMASTERED version of Joey's 2nd solo album, Spells of Fear,,,WOW sounds so much better than the original version that was released. I'm starting to think that perhaps the poorly mixed version was perhaps released by mistake.

Musically, it has a darker feel to it. Thanks to the remastering, the background vocals/choruses that were lost in the bad mix are upfront and the guitars/bass/drums sound dirty but clear instead of muddy (original version)

The remastered version ROCKS

Btw, I finally got around to checking out Artifacts 1 and Artifacts 2. Good tunes on those as well. Its a combination of unreleased songs and demo versions of a few of the songs from his 1st solo album.
