Actually Impurity is their best album

I think it sucks. The songs are all short and stupid. 'descend into absurd' is a doomy journey into the abyss and hell. I'm guessing it had something to do with one of the guitarists who left after.

^ More like WTF. LAEFS>TLHP ? Too many crack smokers at the moment.

I have never liked Left Hand Path, it did nothing for me both times I listened to it, it just bored the hell out of me.

You look like a hippie but I did not know you smoked grass too!

(don't be offended because I resemble a hippie also... just not to your extent).

point taken re: opeth being left out (although i think it is stupid) BUT opeth is not prog metal (i hardly think prog is its own genre, but thats another argument). opeth IS DEATH METAL. as is Brave Murder Day. something other than "come on" would need to be said, to convince me otherwise.

hooray @ TRITSIO.

Would you regard dance of december souls as death metal.

haven't heard it. but what has that got to do with brave murder day?

eg "north from here" is gothic rock just because "down" is .. way to not make a point. try arguing about the album rather than fleeting around the edges of broad concepts.

You want to be an idiot.

Grave soulless is crap compared to into the grave and you'll never see, it's shit.

You are wrong about the karelian isthmus and you can get the fuck out of my thread!

It's not to hard to specify others and put your favorites just like everyone else did. There is only so many options and trust me I would have put the first 5 morbid angel cds on the list if possible. fag
DUUUUUUUUUH, yeah, I want to be an idiot... And this is coming from a guy who lists Darkthrone under "death metal"!!!!!
You can keep your aurally fucking challenged opinion about which Grave CD is crap or good, cause you've listed NONE of them in your inadequate fucking list. I've opened for Grave seven times on their US Soulless tour, and it IS a really good fucking album.
Fuck your thread - I'll get out of it when I'm through fucking with your stupid ass.
And Karelian Isthmus is still a fucking boombox-recorded PIECE OF SHIT!!!

The first darkthrone is actually death metal and you obviously have not heard. Anyone in metal will agree that soulside journey is a death metal album. go talk to anyone about it

You are making an ass out of yourself.

FENRIZ WILL KICK YOUR FUCKING ASS FOR SAYING THAT!!!

Not really!!!

He even says it's a death metal album on the soulside journey interview and talks about how the band recorded it with entombed in sweden. One of the guitarists was also heavily influenced by death 'scream bloody gore' also. Darkthrone also has death metal demo's from the late 80's.

get out you noob idiot fuck

Soulside Journey was terrible. imho, A Blaze In The Northern Sky was the first "true" Darkthrone album.

Too bad my favourites aren't on the list: Asphyx - The Rack and Obituary - Slowly we Rot
So i voted for Immolation - Here in After

Dude, you're a fucking retard! And you're telling me I'm making an ass out of myself? Soulside Journey is a PIECE OF SHIT! Blaze in the Northern Sky is the first real Darkthrone album! ANYONE WILL TELL YOU THAT! You're just a pissed off little monkey. "Darkthrone altho hath metal demoth, duuh..." And Glenn fucking Benton used to play fucking Winger covers before Deicide became Deicide! Now go and sniff your mother's dirty panties, you faggot!

P.S. this thread is crap. and Sentenced sucks.
