You want to be an idiot.

Grave soulless is crap compared to into the grave and you'll never see, it's shit.

You are wrong about the karelian isthmus and you can get the fuck out of my thread!

It's not to hard to specify others and put your favorites just like everyone else did. There is only so many options and trust me I would have put the first 5 morbid angel cds on the list if possible. fag

Well, for me, these are all tied (only one is in the poll, so I chose it):

The Chasm - Deathcult for Eternity: The Triumph
Arghoslent - Galloping through the Battle Ruins
Amorphis - The Karelian Isthmus

Out of these:
=1. Demilich - Nespithe
=1. At the Gates - The Red in the Sky is Ours
2. Incantation - Onward to Golgotha
3. Amorphis - The Karelian Isthmus
4. Demigod - Slumber of Sullen Eyes
5. Darkthrone - Soulside Journey

The Chasm and Fleshcrawl would be placed higher than Incantation at the very least though, and Atrocity, Therion, God Macabre, Necrophobic, Séance, Molested and co. were also better than over half the albums on that list at their peaks.

Soulside Journey can not only be considered death metal, but is consistently and undisputably death metal.

Obscura > Considered Dead, by the way.

Really tough one. I chose Immolation - "Here In After" because I'm listening to it at the moment.

Can you really consider Darkthrone Death metal?
Yes, "Soulside Journey" was. Everything beyond that was black metal. Duh.
