as for metal album covers

this looks so amateurish yet theres something so powerfully desolate about it

id rather the broad wasnt there but i really like the desolate atmosphere of the landscape, reminds me a little of some of giorgio de chirico's work - so hyperfocused on a single surreal idea that it seems as if the scene depicted in the painting is the only one that exists in its world. if anyone could recommend me similar stuff i'd appreciate it!

Actually you have posted it before and it really is nothing special. I do see the 'connection with the concept of the album' but what he's trying to do could be done a lot better.
