This was my first Metal album, and i think its amazing.

well i dont really have a favorite cd but i can say that there are cds i rate 5 stars in my collections, a few are seasons in the abyss, reign in blood, british steel, rust in peace, MOP/RTL, Amoung the living. Those are just a few, i dont feel like making a big ass long list of cds that i like a whole fucking lot.

The most "important" album I ever bought was Metallica's Black Album. I haven't listened to it in about 2 years but it IS responsible for every band I love today.

That said, I searched my musical soul for my "favorite" album of all time and it keeps screaming "REMEDY LANE!!!!!". There are many that are right on its heels, but Pain of Salvation's Remedy Lane is just in another galaxy. Its as if Daniel Gildenlow was musically enlightened for this album to a level that I really can't fathom yet.

My most favorite cd ever would probably come down to Alice in Chains - Dirt...an amazing album...was heavy, dark, groovy, just has everything. I <3 Alice in Chains.

Iron Maiden - Powerslave. I love it so much I have three copies of it. And then there is, of course, Live After Death which I have four copies of (CD, remastered CD, LP and VHS. Planning on getting the DVD too).
