Most Disappointing Albums You've Ever Bought..

Soilwork - A Predators' Portrait

Um, I completely fail to understand that! I've never known any melodic death fan to be disappointed in APP, even as the clean-vocaled and different follow-up to TCM.

I was very disappointed in Godhead's 2000 Years of Human Error. I saw the Eleanor Rigby and lurved it. It was something eerily beyond what the Beatles had ever managed to suggest, so when I got the album, I was very annoyed when the cover version on the album was some stupid danced-up peice of SHIT that was nothing like the single's video. There was only 2 or 3 decent songs on it otherwise, but overally the album felt weak.

Marilyn Manson's Holywood is a boring peice of FUCK. Very disappointing considering I lurve Mechanical Animals.

Fear Factory's Digimortal; it was the first FF album I heard, but when I heard everything else, I hated it!

Bah, before I list anything else, i'll just say what everyone else said; all (well, a lot) of the nu-metal albums i've had.

Linkin Park - Meteora, luckily I did not buy it, cause its NO Metal...
Antimatter - Saviour, amazing reviews but nothing behind
Spock's Beard - Snow, after "V" it was sure it would be majestic but it's nothing more than kitschy
...and Oceans - Cypher, piece of shit

ill never forget the day i got "Wolverine Blues", LHP and Clandestine are two of the best death metal albums ever, then, although a decent album by its own right, WB was just soooooooooooooooo disappointing after the prior two due to the cahnge in style. man I was bummed.

Sabbat "Mourning has broken" ugh

Well..okay..but I just didn't like it....I don't really know howto explain it....

Slayer - Divine Intervention (GHUA is better)
Cancer - Black Faith
Primus - The Brown Album and Tales From the Punchbowl

And most of all, one of my favourite bands....

Pungent Stench - Masters of Moral, Servants of Sin. (They used to be so innovative but it sounded boring and generic.)

I totally agree with murai on hatebreed/soulfly, 3 was a load even with seek n strike and perseverance sucked except i will be heard

Hatebreed gets so boring because they pretty much sound like any other hardcore band out there but that I Will Be Heard song is one song I can get into by them. I bought that Perseverance album cause it was real cheap. Soulfly's first album was good but they got so weak after that.

Divine Intervention was a good album by them man but it can't top their earlier albums I guess.

system ofa dump-i think it was their self-titled (b4 i got into extreme metal)
