Best Cradle of filth album

That's a bizarre and illogical argument. I'm not the lead singer for a band, but that in no way excludes me from criticizing Dani; that would be like saying Roger Ebert isn't allowed to criticize movies because he doesn't direct them.

Presumably people who are getting paid to do something and have been doing that thing for years are going to be better at it than people who haven't. An educated opinion is the necessary factor in making criticism valid, and believe me, I know what horrible fucking singing sounds like when I hear it.

Well, generally if you just don't speak, you'll get better results than the Filth guy.

I listened to their new songs a few days ago, the tracks on the "Harder, Darker, Faster" edition of Thornography...and wow are they awful songs. As a longtime fan, I really think the band should maybe call it quits.

Not call it quits. Just time out.

I didn't waste time on Thornography. I watched the video for Temptation and that was it for me. Didn't even think of giving it a chance because of how poor that was. And from what I hear I made the right decision! :)

I have heard alot about cradle of filth from friends, and i want to get an album of theirs just to see if they are as good as i have heard.

Whats the best one to get. all i have heard of the is a couple of songs off nymphetamine.

the first four albums are excellent... best would be Dusk... and Her Embrace and Cruelty and the Beast. Don't bother with anything after Midian.

Thornography is their weakest album imo. Nymphetamine I wasn't too keen on either to be honest (I liked Nymphetamine Overdose though).

Damnation and a Day was very well done, everything seemed to fit exactly into place.

I love listening to it in my car :) (especially to piss off the boyfriend)
