Best frontmen!

 You're right, lets not forget the sisters!. When I saw Lita Ford live she was a great frontperson, her vocals were right on and she had a ton of energy, plus....... well you know they other reasons.
No offense, but I thought Lita was pretty boring. Don't get me wrong, she was opening for Yngwie and this was back on the Odyssee tour and I was a huge YM fan back then, so I may have just been impatient, but I wasn't impressed.
Having said that, I have seen Heart and I can tell you, Ann Wilson is a monster frontman (err frontwoman.) Though she's not metal, she still rocks. I seen her on TV not that long ago and she is still great. Though she has put on a lot of weight, she was very energetic and her voice could peel paint off the walls.

Like I alway's say. It is NOT alway's a disadvatage to be a bit older.
Remember that when you are 45 ;)
I don't even wanna think that far. man. Wait, yes i do...i'd have kids, a beautiful wife, the highest rated show in radio history, a big house, many concerts under my belt, and no HAIR!!!! Knowing my family's history, i'll be as bald as a baby's white ass when i hit 40.

Hey dude there is no one in the world I love more than ME, and I quite haven't figured out the right DNA alteration to stop aging so I personally am tickled to death to be 35. The biggest thing I have found about aging is that though I can still do almost anything I could do at 19 years old I can still do, it takes a bit longer to recover from. >:P~

Yea I alway's liked her. Although I like their old stuff better. Barracuda, Magic man, Crazy on You. I love those songs.

Another female vocalist I would love to see live is Dalbello. Did I mentioned her before in here? She is fantastic! She was the original singer of "Gonna get Close to You" the song that Queensryche made famous on their RoO album.

It's been years since she released an albums. I am hoping that she will record a new one and tour.

Well, at least you are prepared. I did not saw it coming, not being that connected to my uncles. Just remember, man who are getting bald early have a high dosis of testosteron!!! :hotjump: I am sure a smart dude like you can figure out a big avantage on that :)

Live for yourself, there's noone else more worth living for.
Begging hands and bleeding hearts will only cry out for more...

Anthem - Rush
Lyrics by Neil Peart inspired by Ayn Rand

This has been part of my philosophy since I heard these lines back in 1978.
I never had to regret it.

Well, if you put it that way, i guess there's an upside to it, but still! I don't wanna lose my long, shiny, well-conditioned, soft, dark hair of doom! I love it and the chicks love it!

I totally forgot about Blitz!!! he is the fukin best!!!!
I was never gone. I just have a lot of trouble accessing this board most of time and I don´t know why.

Blitz is really a wonderful guy who does everything within his power to make seeing OVERKILL live one of the best experiences ever. I should have mentioned them in Hawk´s post.

hahaha ok I see.... You are absolutely correct I have seen them twice (I wish it was more) and the second time I saw I met Blitz the guy is fukin cool and he got a hell of a laugh when my buddy tripped over some boxes as we were talkin to him and another cool thing was he actually thanked us while on stage for traveling so far to see them play that night, That made my whole life right there :) His Girlfriend is a sweetheart too

Blitz is awesome to hang out with. I don´t remember anymore how many times I´ve seen OVERKILL and even nowadays, where I only go see bands I´ve not seen since I don´t have a lot of money (I can thank starting a label for that), when OVERKILL tours I try to make it at any cost.

This is SOOOO true! He is *very* cool. The guy lives for metal, NO IS metal. In the true sense of the word. No star attitude here. Just his normal self. Really fucking cool.

Here's to the Blitz! :worship:

:) Overkill is truely one of the best and the nice thing about them is (I'm not rich either) they never charge big prices for tickets over here and that is great they are a real class act!

Hey we all forgot about Elvis as well. Not particularly a fan, but "The King" was one hell of a showman.
Agreed. (Actually, I even was a big fan of him about two and a half decades ago.:) )

I have to mention Fear Of God-vocalist :worship: Dawn Crosby :worship: (R.I.P.). Unfortunately, I´ve never seen her live myself, but from a live recording (for a Dutch metal radio programme) of the Fear Of God gig at the Aardschokdagfestival ´92 and from a bootleg-video of the Fear Of God gig in Gent in ´92 I can tell that she was an impressive frontwoman.

Chuck Billy (Testament) was also great. (Well, he probably still is.) I saw Testament two times: In 1987, just a few months after the release of their debut "The Legacy" (still my favourite one) as support for Anthrax, and again in spring 1988 as supporting act (together with Sanctuary and Flotsam & Jetsam) for Megadeth. Two great concerts, though not only by Testament, but also the other bands involved!

Not exactly metal, but still rock:
Joyce Kennedy (Mother´s Finest). Mother´s Finest´s studio albums are actually not very impressive IMO - their best is probably "Black Radio Won´t Play This Record" -, but they were great live performers. In 1978 they did a show for the German "Rockpalast"-series, which was shown on TV and it really kicked ass! (Didn´t see it way back then, but when it was shown again last year, I recorded it on a video-tape. Now I read there are plans to release it on DVD - something I´m definitely looking forward to!)

It wouldn't be fair to mention Ann without Stevie though. Again not metal, but she sets incredibly high standards for other female vocalists. When they recorded "The Dance" in 1997, Stevie was not a young woman, but she sounded BETTER live on a couple of those classic songs than she did back when they were recorded. Stevie is very unique and will always be one of my favorite vocalists.

chuck billy for me too-saw him a couple of times back in 89 and 90.he has huge stage presence.
tom araya has great presence,as does the rest of slayer, but its a bit odd when he opens his mouth to speak to the crowd.he'd do better just keepin quiet and playin the songs!
max cavalera was pretty funny as a frontman with sepultura when i saw them on the beneath the remains tour, but mainly cause his english was really fucked up.made us all laugh.
think sayer mentioned him,but millie petroza was a way cool frontman.
mike patton from faith no more was pretty cool
blaze bailey has to be the funniest frontman i've ever seen,he was great.
the one i've not seen, and would like to,would be chris cornell
