Just for grins, what if Glen decided to put on a "Best of Progpower" one year in place of a regular PP.

Make a list of what would be your best of show only from who has allready played here. There is a history on the main page for a list of all who have played.

Mine would be:

Friday:

Power of omens
Jag Panzer
Pagans Mind
Angra
Symphony X

Saturday:

Zero Hour
Redemption
Silent Force
Edguy
kamelot

Pre-party:

Cea Serin
Prototype
Enertia (headliner)
Persephone's Dream (headliner, with full stage theatrics if they're still using them)

Friday:

Superior
Mercenary
Circle II Circle
Jag Panzer (headliner)
Gamma Ray (headliner)

Saturday:

Redemption
Wuthering Heights
Devin Townsend Band
Evergrey (headliner)
Tad Morose (headliner)

Friday
Redemption
Mercenary
Vanden Plas
Kamelot
Stratovarius

Saturday
Balance of Power
Superior
Threshold
Gamma Ray
Savatage (with Zak, Jon, and the rest of the gang)

Not necessarily the ten best bands to grace the stage, just the ones I've enjoyed the most or am eagerly awaiting...

Hmmm... my favorites... and I'm guessing a lot of people would not like this line-up too much...

Balance of Power
Ark
Evergrey
Pain of Salvation
Savatage

Threshold
Kamelot
Vanden Plas
Tad Morose (y'all knew that one was coming, didn't ya? ;))
Conception

Only I don't think Khan would want to sing that much in one night, and, really, I think I've got a list with a lot of potential headliners. Unfortunately, I didn't have a slot left for Superior.

The point, I think, is this: damn, these have been some great shows! :)

Shaye

Pre Party-
Ion Vein
Katagory V
Stride

Friday-
Adagio
Threshold
Tad Morose
Symphony X
Edguy

Saturday-
Circle II Circle
Zero Hour
Ark
Angel Dust
Angra

Here's an easy one....

Friday:
Spiral Architect
Evergrey
Edguy
Symphony X
Devin Townsend

Saturday:
Tad Morose
Orphaned Land
Nightingale
Ark
Pain Of Salvation

I ran out of small opening bands, so it's kind of weird.

Friday:

Ark
Redemption
Threshold
Balance of Power
Nightwish

Saturday:

Pagan's Mind
Tad Morose
Brainstorm
Symphony X
Savatage (the whole gang)

THIS QUESTION IS TOO FREAKIN' HARD!!!!!!!!!!! IT'S A GREAT IDEA THOUGH!!!!!!!!

Friday:

Rage
Silent Force
Blind Guardian
Angel Dust
Gamma Ray

Saturday:

Mercenary
Tad Morose
Brainstorm
Edguy
Nightwish

Interesting... out of 13 lists submitted so far, Tad Morose appears on 9, SymX on 8, Mercenary on 7, Edguy on 6, and tied at 5 are Evergrey, Nightwish, Pagans Mind, Silent Force, and Threshold.

Yes, I'm at work and tired of a, doing research and b, looking at storm photos. :b

It's really difficult for me to come up with a lineup! Granted, I could easily pick all of the bands that simply crushed over the show's history, but there were some really good acts that didn't ravage the stage as well. Here goes (from openers to headliners):

Friday:
Pain Of Salvation
Steel Prophet
Vanden Plas
Threshold
Angel Dust

Saturday:
Brainstorm
Edguy
Tad Morose
Angra
Jag Panzer

This one isn't based so much on popularity as it is on seniority. I especially give Jag Panzer headlining status since they were playing power metal before it had a name. Nobody can do it quite like they can.

Stay metal. Never rust.
Met-Al

Friday:

Pagan's Mind
Tad Morose
Mercenary
Angra
Symphony X

Saturday:

Wuthering Heights
Destiny's End
Edguy
Kamelot
Pain of Salvation

Okay to eliminate any thinking, how bout this?????? Glenn puts on a best of ProgPower and it will run for 4 days beginning at 3:00pm everyday, and the list of bands will include all who have preformed at the previous PP, plus maybe 2 surprises. This may result in a little higher ticket price or you can buy a ticket for each night separately. Who knows it might work.
