Best Opeth Intro

Wow, I cannot believe that no one has mentioned The Funeral Portrait. That is fantastic how they start out with the acoustic riff right into the crushing heavy riff.

I'm having a bit of a blank mind right now so i can't think of many intros, but the song By the Pain I See in Others, which i'm listening to right now, has an awesome intro. Radio-esque recording and then all of a sudden the volume turns up 100000% and blasts your ears off. Whee!

Oh and Demon of the Fall, yes sireeeee! *backwards roars*

definitely agree with Bleak Eyes... heres a list of almost all of opeth's songs...:
in the mist she was standing
the apostle in triumph
to bid you farewell
demon of the fall
the moor
moonlapse vertigo
serenity painted death
the leper affinity
the drapery falls
dirge for november
the funeral portrait
blackwater park
wreath
deliverance

and...
WINDOWPANE

Nothing will ever beat the introduction to "Advent," which also has what I consider to be the greatest Opeth riff of all time...

"The Moor" comes in at a close second... I never get tired of listening to this song!

"April Ethereal" probably comes in at third but to limit a list like this to a top three does a great injustice to so many wonderful songs that I could have listed... I guess that goes without saying... :)
