there are many opeth solos i like (last deliverance solo; blackwater park solo...) but white cluster totally owns...

mh, the hope leaves solospot is absolutely awesome, i agree. but it annoys me to death that you still can hear the amp-noise some seconds after the actual solo or leadspot ended

I learned how to play the deliverance solos, the last part of the last solo that akerfeldt does is sooo much fun to play, its just a bend, short sweep, and a 3 fret slide... But I love the solos in Funeral Portrait SOOO Much, White Cluster is probably the best though, its really complex and one part of it reminds me of dream theatre, the part third harmony in major sounds really awkward but amazing....

I like the end of Peters solo in a fair judgement there is about 4 notes that are fucking crazy.
