What is the best solo ever pulled off in SyX-matters? One of my faves is from Of Sins And Shadows.. That one truly kicks ass.

IMO:

Of Sins And Shadows
Sea Of Lies
Accolade II
Dressed To Kill
The Odyssey
The Divine Wings Of Tragedy
The Bird Serpent War/Cataclysm

those are the ones at the top of my head.

Sea of Lies is my favorite hands down.

Of Sins and Shadows, Church of The Machine, The Damnation Game, Dressed to Kill, Wicked, Incantations..., Communion and the Oracle, King of Terrors, Accolade I and II are others. I will stop there. MJR is a f@#$ing amazing player, I love all of his solos!

Six or Seven Minutes into The Odyssey (The Song, not the Cd ;) ) is just pure bliss. Fuck this, I'm taking Out Iced Earth - Something wicked and listening to that solo.

Personally I like Romeo's solo in "Dawn Of A Million Souls" the best, There's so much feeling there and it is a really quintessential Romeo solo. But as far as Symphony X...there are so many. Either "In The Dragon's Den", "Sea Of Lies", or "Dressed To kIll".

For Pinnella; I like the one in "Candlelight Fantasia" the most. It has a very Beethovenian feel.

For bass, probably "The Divine Wings Of Tragedy".
