The solo on Accolade II is the best solo ever IMO. Never heard a better one, except for maybe Vivian Campbell on Rainbow in the Dark.

Pinnella really brought it all together on this last album; his tone and phrasing are much better than in previous albums. Pinnela's solos on "Inferno", "Wicked", "The Turning", and "The Odyssey" (during pt. 2 around 8:00) are absolutely amazing, in fact I've found myself fast-forwarding through Romeo solos to get to Pinnella solos lately.

In addition to the solos I listed above, I also appreciate Romeo's work on "Out of the Ashes", "King of Terrors", and "Inferno" (the tapping one and the one in-between the verses). I also like the duel on "Smoke and Mirrors".

SymX has many many brilliant solo's..but the one of theirs that makes me want to jizz all over the place (in a womanly sense) at the moment is the guitar riffs at the end of DWOT..just before the last two verses.. oh man..that does it for me. i dunno what it is..but oh hell yeah. lol!
