That. Seems odd to choose another song that "truly represents" them when they've provided a 24 minute, multi-faceted epic that literally incorporates nearly all elements of their sound.

Because Awakenings does it all in 8 and better

Awakenings is an amazing song, but there are tonalities in there that aren't too common for Symphony X (such as the jazzy section in the middle and the 70s-prog vibe going on before the last chorus). I love it, but I just don't think it's representative of most of their material.
