I like m201. Use it on snare 95% of the time these days and if I'm micing and amp with 2 mics, it's usually a 57+201 combo (straight on separate speakers).
Man this is probably one of my favorite tones i've heard from you, sounds great! I've been thinking about getting a M160 for a while even though i have a pair of lundhal fatheads for ribbons.
Ahh, okay. Didn't notice the change in pic in the video! So no matter what mic you blend the M160 with you have it spaced back about 10-20cm along with it? Or can you have another mic closer using the 3-to-1 rule? I certainly have no complaints about using mics further back, as it gets a roomier sound that's a lot nicer than the usual "inside the speaker" tones. However since I started out learning about micing cabs close up, this is kinda new to me
