I've been listening to a lot of black metal lately, and I was wondering what are some good bands you'd reccommend and which cd's I should pick up.

Right now here are some of my favorites

As you can see, I kinda need a little more variety.

Zyklon - Disintegrate
Behemoth - Demigod

The last two are really blackened-death, but whatever. It's all good!

Dodheimsgard (DHG) definitely. And of course, Enslaved. That's about the extent of my black metal collection, though whether they are tr00 black metal or not is debatable.

It's this guy in Swizterland that plays all the instruments (all synths/keys and drums, too), does the vox, mixing, engineering, production, everything (even the art work!). It's symphonic black metal with some death influences. Really good stuff.
