BLACK SABBATH: 13

I like it. Not the best thing they've ever done, but it would have fit in on the early albums. Tony sounds like Tony, Geezer sounds like Geezer, and Ozzy sounds like Ozzy, and it makes me want to crank up the volume and bang my head. Works for me.

I disagree 100% Sorry.......
Ozzy stayed in the same range the entire song....
The rhythm section was downright boring.
Even in Sabbath's most repetitive numbers, the rhythm had some jazz / swing to it.

I will still get the album. Just wasn't blown away by this track.
A bit longer than necessary for so little going on musically.

I'm not a big fan of the song. No guitar solo, flat vocals, ect. But I will give the other songs a chance, because you never know, this might not represent the rest of the album. We'll see!

Why in the heck do bands do this. Announce a few dates, don't say there's more coming, start selling tickets for those dates, and then announce a bunch more dates? Seems unfair to the fans.

Looking at that setlist, I really wish they'd change things up a bit and do some deeper cuts. What I would give to hear Spiral Architect live.

Cool. The Bristow show is literally in walking distance for me. I guess I'll finally get to see Sabbath. I wonder if they'll have any good openers?

Good openers????????
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

You guys seriously haven't figured it out? Your Internet Skillz = FAIL.

Sadly, it's Andrew WK.

Though I am sure someone will come on here (Prolly Aeonic) and say its a brilliant booking so....whatever....

AWK will completely obliterate Sabbath night after night on this tour and I say this being a huge Iommi fan, watching Heaven & Hell blow the mighty Judas Priest off the stage, etc. I almost feel bad. :c

Also feel free to not like his music, but he is one of the most real as it gets guys in mainstream music. I'd hardly call it corporate. He handpicked Donald Tardy from Obituary to play in his original line up just because he was a huge fan of Obituary. He also runs a club here in NYC and makes sure alot of metal shows come here.

Also for the record, aside from a handful of cuts, I'm not super into his stuff, but a few years ago I saw him live with a friend who dragged me out and it completely destroyed me. One of the best shows ever.
