Blasphemer leaves Mayhem

He is an infinitely better guitarist than Euronymous was, from a technical standpoint. However, Euronymous had the know-how for writing brilliant, simplistic music. Blasphemer is just a metrosexual faggot and I'm glad he's gone. Maybe they can bring in somebody who doesn't smuggle cocks across the border in his mouth. Like one of the guys from Kvikksolvguttene, bring back that Deathcrushy goodness.
and i know that you are dead, when my penis has turned red..:headbang:

In his defence Ordo ad chaos was a good album mostly because of his contribution to it. Saw them on tour last year and they were painfully bad none of them looked like the wanted to be there and Atilla appeared on stage dressed in what could only be described as a gimp suit

All I heard on Ordo Ad Chao was him trying to recapture Euronymous' fire, and while giving a meritorious effort, ultimately failing.

It was always going to be an impossible task to better the earlier work but I thought ordo was a good album. It's like Slayer always having any album they write compared to the earlier stuff and failing because of it even when the record is good

Yeah but Blasphemer's riffs sounded like he was trying to sound like Euronymous. If he tried to be more original, it may have been better.

Nope, Euro sounded like he could barely play the guitar. What Euro was good at is Riffs which I will give him that.

Well he sounded like he was trying to copy his style.
Not even close. Both were different styles and as Doden admitted Blasph was technically a better player. Euro is just considered a better songwriter. Love how everyone is always a fanboy on this forum and never take the other side because of what others might say to them with the exception of Doden and Blue Wiz lol

Funny interview

Nothing more to say...what are they goona do now anyways?
I guess find a new guitarist?

I say Atmosphere > Riffs

especially in bands like Summoning for exemple.

They are complimentary but atmosphere gets boring without a discernible and pleasing sequence of pitches.

Nothing pleasing about Attila's vocals. I rather listen to the Donald Duck/Daffy Duck from hell vocals on Gorgoroth's albums... what is pleasing to me on DMDS was Hellhammer's drumming and Varg's bass...
