Am i the only one who thinks 6:40 - 7:19 on Bleak is the best
riff on BWP ???

It almost gives me the feeling i get when i hear the ending part of Demon of the Fall!

i especially like mendez's playing. he creates such a atmosphere.

i also think that "bleak" is the best song on the BWP. using steven wilson's vocals is a great idea.

Yeah, everything about that song is great...I especially love the beautiful midsection and the transition between Steven and Mikael's vocals at its conclusion.

Yeah when I cheated and got the BWP album off napster before it was released (knowing I already had a copy on hold at CDNOW for when it came out). I listened to Bleak a ton of times every day, it was my favorite track but with the disc I listen to The Funeral Portrait a lot more.

The end where clean vocals fade away and Akerfeldt's pounding growls rush in. I get insanely violent at that moment.
