CAGE in chicago...well the burbs

Yeah, I remember KILL THE DEVIL being the best song the one time I saw them
(Which was like Milwaukee Metalfest 2003, I think).

This thread makes me realize that I don't own any of their CDs.
I really need to change that.

I think they would be a perfect fit for Powerfest.

Kill The Devil is one of thier best songs. I said last year that Cage would be a perfect fit for Powerfest....they are one of the many bands in the US that just gets over looked....like Twisted Tower Dire, Slough Feg, and many others. These bands are always on the outskirts of the metal scene. A show like Powerfest would really help a band like Cage. People who would never listen to them would get to see how great they are.

Bob - you and I have talked about this for a long time.
There are TONS of amazing bands right here in the United States who are criminally underrated and underappreciated.

Alehorn of Power is a fest that truly realizes that, and goes after great underrated US bands, like Manilla Road, Gates of Slumber, Novembers Doom, Slough Feg, etc.

Milwaukee Metalfest showcased a lot of these bands too, though it was so disorganized that even if these bands were booked, you would probably miss their set as their date or time would shift!!!
