high end home audio is really a waste ... especially if you are not going to sit in the sweet spot and just listen.

hahah ... really, high end audio is an old fart hobby ... and they just listen to the equipment NOT the music.

tried them years ago ... now i have $50 comp speakers with a sub ... they're awesome

I'm with the Lurch on the home audio front. The only thing I'm going to do is get some relatively modest in-wall speakers. But I'm not doing that until I'm back in my own house and I can get a good seating position. It just doesnt work unless youre in the right position. Until then, I couldn't care less...using my 2 watt tv speakers actually.
