CD sales figures, is it public knowledge?

...and if it is, how do I look it up? I'd like to know what WCFYA and a few others have sold. My searches don't seem to be in the right direction though.

The only place that I've ever seen numbers on is Metal Sludge, and they haven't done 'em in awhile...

I think you can get the album sales numbers at billboard.com but you have to be a subscriber.
