Changing one link in the reamping chain (CLIPS)

Hey everyone,

I recently did a pair of reamps with the Lasse/Mago DI pack, which I happen to really like, and I changed only one link in the chain to switch up the tone.

Please, tell me if you like the tone, and which of the two, A or B, you prefer, and why.

Just to note, there was absolutely zero post processing on this as well

I like A better, sounds more focused even if B is a bit fatter.

My guess: somewhat tubescreamer related?

B has more bass, A is a bit more "open" , but hard to tell wich one I like the best ...... I'd go for A

B sounds like it has less gain and density or something. A sounded "wetter" and bigger to my ears.

I like A a little bit more than B, it's more focused and sits better to me.

Anyway, both are great!

I voted B but after listening to both of them a little more I think that A was the better choice in my opinion.

Definitely prefer A over here. It seems much more open and clear than B, which sounds somewhat wooly in comparison.

I voted A because I like the way it sits in the mix. I thought it had a little better mid bite, if that makes sense.

A and IDK why. just 'felt' better. still nothing drastic in my eyes.... this coming from listening on a subpar 2.1 laptop speaker system.... which actually tells me a lot =D

B, feels better, listened to objectively A is the better track, but i A/B'ed the tracks and B just felt better

A definitely seems to have more definition and less girth in 160-250 region. That'd be my choice between them!
