Chicago Powerfest

Anyone going to this? It's May 1st->May 3rd, Paganfest on the 1st, Iced earth headlining the 2nd, and testament headlining the 3rd. I might make the travel there but not 100% sure.

I can't make it, I have to spend those 3 days wishing New England got decent shows every once in a while.
Insult to injury, Paganfest comes through here late at night on a Sunday, so while I could make it I can't go - school the next day.

How can you pass up Testament and IE for so cheap, and im going to guess pretty close to home? lucky fucks

I live 15 minutes from the Pearl Room. The reason I'm not going to Powerfest is that I don't like the bands on the bill. Testament has a few good songs but I'm not a fan of Darkane or Iced Earth. Suidakra could be interesting live tho'.

Terrible line up this year, which is surprising considering that last years lineup was great.

pretty weak lineup in Chicago. I would much rather go to these fests instead, it sucks that the best ones are always far away.
