does anyone likes iphones ?
wrong wrong wrong.does anyone likes iphones ?
wrong wrong wrong.
You forgot, these are winfags who havent even touched a macbook/imac. You gotta come up with shit like this
fuck yeah
The only reason im such a anti mac troll is because macs usually are anti windows trolls And i'm sure it goes the other way too
To each their own(but mac is still overpricedproducts trollface.jpg)
yeah both sides are gay.
I have a computer with windows xp too, it's my music system
I don't say windows sucks, but I prefer my macbooks to my windows computer.
that's it.
Cool man, i prefer Windows because im a gamer fag pretty much So far i havent found anything to reason a purchase of a mac yet, even though my uncle is the biggest macfag in the universe and tries to "win me over"
Question for the techies:
My pc is fucked in terms of Windows not booting, so I tried a different hard drive from an older computer, and it kept saying "DRIVE NOT FOUND" or something. But I was moving the connecter pin at the back around to see if I could find somewhere that'd make it work, maybe I was connecting it in the wrong area, when all of a sudden I saw a blue spark and now the thing won't turn on at all, there's no power.
I'd just like to know what piece of hardware is fried, so I can replace it. I'd rather not go buy another new tower. I tried the fuse, as it was the quickest way and it's not that, so is it the motherboard, CPU, etc etc..
Thanks for any help.
Blue spark? Oh man that can't be good
It's most probably your PSU that got fried.
You only need 2 things to connect your harddrive.
The power cable from your powersupply, and the connector that is coming from the motherboard. Get a new PSU or borrow one of the same watt amount and test.
Don't cheap out on it tho, it's a very vital part of the system. Corsair and Seasonic makes good ones.
The power supply for the hard drive? Or for the whole tower?
But what happened was I was connecting the thing from the motherboard to the hard drive, but because they were different connections, I wasn't sure if it'd work a different way. I assumed it'd be the same but obviously not...
Also 2 reasons why I don't want a mac:
1. Price
2. Games
3. no right click
What kind of cables was it? sATA?
And by the powersupply I mean the main one, there isn't one on the motherboard. As seen in the pic above you only need 2 cables to connect a harddrive, the top one is an old IDE connection, and the bottom is a newer sATA connection.
Both of these come from the main powersupply, not from the motherboard. The sATA power cable is twice the width of the sATA connector (that goes into your motherboard.)
Now you can tell me what you connected to what so we can get that cleared up.
Still seems like you have to buy a new PSU and pray that Yngwie Malmsteen will come and shred some diminished arpeggios in your computers face if something else is also fried.
PROTIP: If your computer is really old, like 4-5+ years, get a new one, seriously. I did and I am amazed why I didn't do it in the first place, I can help you with it if you want.
