That kinda makes me sad sometimes.
just because I can't understand it...

If the jacksons a problem ill take it off your hands to stop it making you feel bad. As a favour no cost at all.

It's because your strat's got Emg pups...

I guess it's more 'cause the SL-1 is one of the few guitars I bought new for a ridiculously overpriced amount of money, I've payed for 2 years until I finally owned it, those 2 years I got used to not touching it (oh so feared of dongs and scratches), so I couldn't really develop a feel for it.
the Fender I bought as a practice guitar (i like playing on maple) and because it's never bad to have a Strat in the studio.
I never feared any wear on it and just played it (the first week more often than the Jackson during the last 2 years) so that's probably what got us connected.
I now decided to detune the SL.1 and just play it live and in rehearsal, perhaps I can develope a feeling for it that way....
...if not I'm gonna contact you elmuchoescadawg ;)

this thread is great!
i like loads of power metal bands (especially sonata arctica)
I own most of Green day, nofx and Offsprings albums, and enjoy them
Also like songs by (amongst others):
Phil Collins
Bon Jovi
Backstreet Boys
Avril Lavigne
Britney
Christina Aguilera
and the production on that sort of american pop stuff is amazing.
Transformers the movie is one of my favorite films ever!
and i love the soundtrack!
and i still get chocked up when prime dies.
I love the Star wars and lord of the rings films
I love the naked gun films
I love Sammy Hagar, Michael bolton and Stan Bush's voices (give me goosebumps)
That new Fall out boy song is great
I love manowar
I think Evanescence have better songs than Lacuna Coil
When i get drunk and listen to At The Gates - Slaughter of the Soul it feels like i'm gonna explode! into a big puddle of pure adrenaline!
One of my bands toured with Skid Row last year.
I've been in a film with John Malkovic but am not sure if it ever got released (colour me kubrick)
I love Weird al
I'm pretty pally with Fredrick Nordstrom
I still like Load (not reload tho)
I saw some kind of monster for the first time last night and it made me respect lars more and think james is a twat.
and reminded me how horrendous st anger is!
It bugs me how quiet the guitars are on the black album.
actually it bugs me that the black album is mastered so quiet as well, seriously what's that all about?

I think 'Local H' kicks ass!
Billy Cobham kicks ass!
Al DiMeola just plain Destroys on guitar!
And Shakira can shake that ass any day in my lil' studio!:OMG: :headbang:

To someone like me who grew up on as much hip hop as he did metal (thank you Anthrax) the Linkin Park/ Jay Z album was the most important thing since the judgement night sound track.

Oh and despite thinking this I still think Limp Biscuit are utter balls

My vinyl shelf includes Eye of the Tiger, Final Countdown, the Danger Zone... really need to get some Journey! ;)

I have attended more that one Tori Amos concert, and I have always wanted to punch that guy from the GooGoo Dolls in the face but I don't know why.
