Joy Division wannabes....

Interpol sounds nothing like joy division on music terms maybe a little on vocals but still paul banks owns ian curtis.

And Joy Division's dark atmosphere > Interpol's dark atmosphere

And what's wrong with Twilight of the Gods? It's a great album.

No joy division does not really give an atmosphere, good band though.

I am actually not at all a fan of suffo's 1st 2 albums, it's ruined by shitty production and shitty vocals. Everything after that is very good though

all of immolation is excellent with the exception of production issues on a couple of albums

The vocals on early suffocation are great. The production on souls to deny is anyyoing with a deep bass trop coming in and out...good album though.

(old) - Metallica, Pantera and Slayer are all overrated bands. There were plenty of better musicians out there than these 3 at their peek.

Mayhem is just boring. Nuff said.

I'm inclined to agree with this. I think they expended all their creative energy on the debut albums and could not top them.
