I actually like Green Day
but I think that is because I do not try to view them as a punk band and compare them to punk bands... though their first like 3 albums are punk imo...

I've heard Glen Benton called an average growler many times, but they're such beast-like, they fit Deicide's music perfectly, he's a great growler.

i know that both of then have influences and even punk albuns, but you can't compaire they with Black Flag, for example... it's very difficult to separate the styles, but it's my way

Interpol is great, but I would not even think about comparing them to Burzum. They both have unique atmospheres that are thoroughly incomparable to one another.

Err... controversial opinions? I consider Psychotic Waltz to be the best metal band ever and I find a lot of death metal to all sound the same, apart from that my opinions are perfectly normal.
^I tried to get a friend who was into Norwegian 2nd wae Black Metal into death metal and he said it all sounded the same een though I tried to explain the many subgenres.

Emperor are the single most over-rated Black Metal band in existence.
