Controversial opinions on metal

Invaders and Savage are solid but unspectacular.

Savage is in my top ~3 for that album. One of the most blatantly Maiden/USPM-influencing songs, musically summons a more 80s escapism while retaining the political conviction they had in those days. That chorus is easily among Halford's most powerful moments.

Invaders, I can sort of agree but it's so damn catchy and was my first favorite from the album. I still couldn't rate it lower than an 8/10 or so.

It may suffer from teething pains for the band, its not exactly very mature or consistent but it plain-out rocks. I enjoy it greatly.

Rocka Rolla is a little uneven (especially the Winter suite) but it's a solid listen. I love Cheater and the title track. Run of the Mill is a gorgeous song with a stunning crescendo. I really can't see how a Priest fan could call that record "shit".

I don't know how controversial this is, but...

The Swan Road is easily the best Drudkh album.
