Controversial opinions on metal

Right. It's not even controversial.

While we're at it. I only own Hate Forest's Battlefields and love it. Are their other albums worth checking out?
I don't really know because I'm in the same boat but I think there are a few on this board that would enjoy Battlefields atleast.

I’m very left-leaning, but I still buy NSBM records. I take a consequentialist perspective on the issue. I figure giving a few bucks to some relatively powerless, pissed off, racist musicans playing an obscure subgenre of metal in Eastern Europe is nowhere near as damaging to the world as giving money to the oil tycoons who profit everytime I fill my car.

A Vision of Misery is better than Human. There, back on track.

Yeah, most likely. Human got so fucking boring after enough listens. Cosmic Sea has a nostalgia factor for me, probably my first favorite metal song thanks to its use as the opening theme to the video game Damage Incorporated, but that's it. Schuldiner pretty much forgot how to write a decent riff after Leprosy.

nowadays, once l heard flattenings of emotions, the rest of the album never stack's up
l prefer itp over human for the third or fourth etc version of death
the best death album is leprosy and the best song from human is suicide machine
