I enjoy the Emperor/Wrath of the Tyrant compilation more than I enjoy In the Nightside Eclipse, though it's still a great album. Anthems to the Welkin at Dusk, however, is shallow and pedantic.

Emperor in general pretty much suck to me except for As the Shadows Rise and Emperor/Hordanes Land which are pretty damn good. As the Shadows Rise is just too raw and sick that I can't not to like it. I have tried numerous times to get into In The Nightside Eclipse, and I want to like it, but it just doesn't happen. Maybe sometime in the future it will click, maybe not.

I'm not a huge Immortal fan. They have some cool songs here and there but for the most part, I have a very hard time taking them seriously.
