Controversial opinions on metal

Dying Fetus is probably one of the best live death metal bands I've ever seen.

And Trey Williams is one of the most powerful death drummers of them all. He hits his kicks so hard the whole kit shakes.

Their energy live is fucking colossal. Especially when they wail on songs like Intentional Manslaughter, Praise The Lord, Killing on Andrenaline, and Skull Fucked. They were one of the first metal bands I got into, so they hold a special spot in my music collection.

However,

1) Kevin Talley > Trey Williams.

2) The real Dying Fetus died when Talley and Netherton left. They have produced some solid material after like their newest release, Reign Supreme, but that shit cant touch Killing on Adrenaline or Destroy The Opposition.

I've always liked 'The Grenadier' but none of their songs have really grabbed me. Probably because there's this one galloping trad/power part that kind of reminds me of Adramelch.

Incorrigible and Hornets are a pair of fucking diesel albums. Like, nearly flawless for what they are.
