There are a few of us so don't worry (I'm sure you weren't, but you know)... I still harbor bitter bitter memories of organized dressing from Middle School days and I don't think I want to see me in a corset even if I didn't. :)

I was scarred *long* before I entered middle school and had to do the striped shirt with short shorts and tube socks thing for P.E..

My mom thought it was cute to dress my sister and I alike in matching style clothes with different colors. And we aren't even twins.

No corset for me...I'll be in a comfy t-shirt and jeans (or shorts) on Friday night!

A good corset is pretty darn comfortable... There are ones that are "OH M'DAMN!?!?" and others that are really nice that don't cost a couple hundred dollars... and nothing's hanging out (much to the males shagrin.. hehehehe)

It's fun idea (dragging up the cruelties of school - let's face it, we were all scarred) and PP only happens once a year... What the hell!! We're there to have a blast!!

However, if you guys start talkin' about jumpin' off a bridge or building, I'm out...

Well goodness, anything that happened in middle school is bound to leave a scar... i hated that time.
On the flip side, fake corset tank tops are fun. and cheap. and comfortable.
And I've never exactly dressed up for a show before, so i figure it's worth the experience. once. ;-)

Undoubtedly. Man, that middle school event was ... well, eighth graders suck.

Plus, the whole bit about me not wanting to see me in one? I don't like my arms and am too lazy to do it... so I'll keep them mostly covered. ;) I'm from the great frozen (HAHAHAHA - today's predicted heat index is 108 and the actualy temps are 97, man it's been nearly 5 years since we've dealt with that!) north, so I have no clothing in my wardrobe as such anyway. ;)

Well damn... I guess Saturday night's out for you. ;)

@ Linda... not girlie enough??? And you in a dress at my wedding right there in your avatar. Don't worry, Kim and I are going to make you wear the cute brown top you had on at the bachelorette party. :D Don't worry; Karate Kim and I will be there to help beat the men off of you.

Wear a corset, don't wear a corset, doesn't matter. We'll still love ya ;)

It's a once a year event. Just have fun.

NOT Cheating.... IMO comfort always will overrule :loco:

Amen sister!

I don't think my body was built for a corset...I don't see myself in one.

Man i feel so naked in that shirt..i have 3 of those and have only worn them twice... :) yes, that is probably the only time you will see me in a dress unless I get married or something and it is still iffy... LOL

I expect protection from Karate Kim after putting my ass on the line to protect her from the men last year... :)

$200, $300 for a corset? :OMG:

lace up tank... much better:lol:

Crazy, right? They go for waaaaaaaaay more than that, too. I found a really cute leather one for under $100, and that's only because I know I'll get a lot of use out of it beyond PPUSA. I go to a lot of shows and the guy I'm seeing is in a band, so this will become a staple in my wardrobe for a while. :)

I'll be there for corset night! Currently starting my pre-Progpower denial of anything sweet, fried, carbonated...

Gotta look good in that corset!!!! Gotta make sure that the "cups don't runneth over" (ha ha).

Hey, don't knock it. I *wish* I was in danger of overflowing.
