Idiot Flesh (the band that would become Sleepytime Gorilla Museum)
Cheer Accident
Univers Zero
Thinking Plague

Yea they should but if we stress it too much the brutal death fans will be in shortly to call it emo shit.

I don't know if this is the kind of thing you're looking for but these albums are pretty far removed from the "norm" of death metal.

Demilich - Nespithe
Traumatic Voyage - Traumatic Voyage
Adramelech - Psychostasia
Cartilage - The Fragile Concepts of Affection
Gorguts - Obscura
Supuration - The Cube

I'm wondering how much underground metal the OP actually listens to, especially if he thinks it all sounds the same.

I have exactly zero knowledge in underground metal,I used to be a metalhead when i was teenager, then stopped for some reason (prejudice ?maybe ) btw I used to listen to Dissection,Obituary,Megadeth,Metallica,Cradle Of Filth,Dimmu Borgir,Danzig etc..etc... then started listening to Alternative / Stoner /Progressive .
Now,I'll never had the time to listen to all these bands listed ,but the stuff that I've listened until now is really outstanding, also i have to say that i loved all those bizarre monikers
( Gigantic Brain LMFAO ,great band ) and artworks ( Nespithe is the shit)

Thanks guys,keep 'em coming :kickass:
